Why? As we agreed, we are going to finish all the 48 illustrations, then we'll decide what next.

David I await more on our conversation. I don't have all the answers (no-one does) so I am turning to you for your thoughts and more on the 48 Illustrations.

    Illustration 11

    (Right)
: Body-transforming-[up to the] side-gate [and using the] triangle-war hand [method] wins.

    (Left): Advancing-[with]-single-Ji-hand-[which is] grabbing-the-vital-joint [loses?]

Thank you David! This one is interesting ... very interesting! "Triangle War Hand": looks remarkable like Qinna motion almost reminiscent of the standard "Figure Four" or a take down into an arm bar although I suspect it is far more than just that. :pompous:

    "Advancing-[with]-single-Ji-hand"
: When looking at the illustration I see an "Olive Branch Hand" Back Knuckle (Metal Energetics) Strike as a possible application ... most likely I am "clutching at straws" again!

It's hard to say. I don't we have enough information to reach any positive conclusion. On the other hand, the most important thing is asking questions. Keep going!

Thanks again David, I have invited a good friend Russ Smith to join this post as I feel he would also get a great deal from it so here's hoping he will chime in on the discussion in the future!

Sorry for not reply sooner but the last week has been kinda busy for me. After two & a half hours my first surgery for the investigation of Renal Cancer in the Renal Tubes and Bladder is over. No some days awaiting the results. Another surgery in two weeks time and then maybe two more after that.

Experiencing some slight pain but nothing like I was told it would be like but then again I do have an exceptionally high pain threshold as told to me by several Doctors now. Can't complain as plenty of people out there who have it far worse than me!

So now the waiting game begins to see the results!

In the meantime I welcome more of your posts wholeheartedly!

I am very sorry to hear of your difficulties! It sounds hard.

Can you walk? Can you sleep? I hope your family and friends are there for you.

I'll probably have time for translation on the weekend.

I extend a warm welcome to your friend , Russ Smith.

I hope everything turns out well.

    David

    Hi David,

Thanks for your kinds words and yes I'm okay.

Yes I can walk and move about okay. Sleeping isn't as easy but its not long term. Just waiting on the results of the investigatory surgery now. Modern surgery procedures are great nowadays.

I am commencing to write an article of the Six Ji Hands while I am recovering so it would be great if you could do a quick Translation of the last four hands. Naturally I will give you credit if you give me your permission to use your translations / Information?

    Hoping to hear from you!

    Hi Pehokun

I apologize for my belated reply. I am carrying a heavy workload at the moment and have several deadlines to make.

I appreciate your passion, but I cannot translate the Six Ji Hands now. The Six Ji Hands is not that easy, and in fact quite time consuming. As I promised, however, I will translate it.

Yes, you can use my translations.

I would also like to point that you have a gift for writing, and I am therefore confident that your article would be both interesting and entertaining.

Wish you a quick recovery and good health!

    David

    Hi Pehokun

It's my turn to apologize! I am sorry it took me so long to answer you.

You are going through a very difficult time. I sincerely hope it will come to an end soon and that better times will begin.

I am trying to get back to translating but work pressure is still very high. But it is a priority for me. I really hope to post new translations soon.

    All the best

    Hello David,

Thank you, Feeling much better now.

Is this illustration 14 or Illustration 12? We have seemed to have skipped a couple as the last you did was Illustration 11?

    Hi Pehokun

How are you? I hope you are better!

    Illustration 16

    (Right): picking-grass-and-branches hand, loses.

    (Left): drunken-arhat-[hand], wins.

    Illustration 17

    (Right): the-beauty-who-is-doing-her-hair-and-putting-on-make-up-hand, wins.

    (Left): brocaded-carp-facing-the-sun-hand, loses.

    Six Ji Hands

    Iron-bone hand.

This hand-method is called iron-bone hand. When you need a strike to penetrate man use this hand-method. It is also said that if you [use this method] to penetrate a man before he ate his meal, he would then spit blood. But if you [use this method] to penetrate a man after he had his meal, then his po-soulwould disperse and his hun-soulwould fly away.

Thank you my friend. Sorry for not replying sooner but I have been very busy putting all my files on one Hard Drive which has taken me a few days and I have a little bit to go!

Wow, your translations never cease to amaze me. You really should translate the entire Tian Wubezhi!!!

I am especially grateful that you have included the Six Ji Hands!

Could I ask you a little bit more for your thoughts on Illustration 15:

Illustration 15 (Right): "Piercing-throat-cooling-penis hand, wins"

I get the "Piercing-throat" but am not sure what to make of the "cooling-penis hand"

Could you perhaps elaborate more? I am thinking it may have to do with the actual hand configuration but???
